This winemaker family, the oldest owner of a 1er Cru Classé 1855 aims for perfection. The environment and the concern for biodiversity are priorities at Château SIGALAS RABAUD to develop our wines.

 

A great wine is a succession of detailed requirements in detail, from the choice of rootstock to the serving temperature.

With a view for respecting the soil and preserving the soil to future generations, tools for preserving biodiversity and plant heritage have been carefully set up. Years of observation and knowledge of the plots have reduced chemical treatments. Instead tillage and sexual confusion (Eudemis, cochylis) have replaced herbicides and insecticides. Thanks to this environmentally friendly management, the property obtained the highest label of High Environmental Value (HVE3), consecration of a responsible commitment in 2016.
